FARO® Crash & Crime Zone Software Is No Longer Being Developed

As of July 15, 2017, development has been suspended for Crash & Crime Zone. This software is now in Legacy status. FARO supports Legacy software for the length of time stated in your license agreement. These articles will remain available for your convenience during that time.

The features of Crash & Crime Zone have been incorporated into our newest software offerings: FARO® Zone 3D and FARO® Zone 2D. These innovative software applications for public safety professionals enable investigators to move fluidly between 2D and 3D environments and enhance the quality of incident reconstruction analysis

Farozone 2D/3D

THE STUDENT WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW AND PRACTICE THE PROPER FORM IN WHICH TO DISPLAY DATA, LEARNING THE TECHNIQUES THAT HAVE LASING IMPRESSIONS FOR THE VIEWER.  STUDENTS WILL ALSO LEARN HOW TO PROVE THE ACCURACY OF THEIR DIAGRAMS AND THE PROCEDURE(S) ASSOCIATED FOR ADMISSION OF THEIR DIAGRAM AS EVIDENCE IN OUR COURT SYSTEMS.

LASTLY THE STUDENT WILL BE INSTRUCTED ON THE METHODS OF FILE CONVERSION AND READING DATA COLLECT BY INSTRUMENTS SUCH AS LTI LASERS, NIKON, TOP-CON, SOKKIA TOTAL STATIONS AND DRONE IMAGE IMPORT.

Forensic Mapping of Crash and Crime Scenes

THIS 5-DAY COURSE IS DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO THE PRACTICE OF CREATING HIGHLY ACCURATE AND PROFESSIONALLY REPLICATED CRASH AND CRIME SCENE DIAGRAMS FOR FUTURE COURTROOM PRESENTATIONS USING THE LTI LASER AND A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT METHODS.  SOKKIA AND TOPCON USERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND AS THE COURSE COVERS FORENSIC MAPPING METHODOLOGY AND  TOTAL STATION BASICS.  THIS COURSE OFFERS TRAINING IN A VERY ACTIVE IS "HANDS-ON" ENVIRONMENT.

ENTRY LEVEL STANDARDS:STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE COMPLETED AT MINIMUM A BASIC ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION, CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION.
