Double check the tripod legs and top bracket to assure they are tight. You can also check the scanner diagnostic in Trimble Perspective
Think of the registration of scans like a puzzle. You want all the pieces to fit. You can also add needed noise by adding boxes, targets etc..
To use annotations or precision point, you must me using the current scanner location. You can change the station number at the top of the screen
Right click on your Desktop, select Display Settings. Go to Graphics Settings, should be at the bottom. In Graphics performance preference, if Reveal is not listed browse to it and add it. Do not let Windows decide, it doesn't see it properly, choose the high performance option and save that. Open Reveal and see if that changes anything.
Click on the hamburger menu on the top left of capture and scroll down to about. Be sure you are connected to the internet. If the license status states Capture, then switch license and log in. Be sure to refresh prior to each 30 days or the license will revert and cause you to switch again.
The DA2 will not connect unless license status is Capture with Catalyst.
Ensure your device has an internet connection
Connect the DA2 to your device
Open the Trimble Mobile Manager app
The app will check the DA2's firmware version
If an update is available, a pop-up message will appear
Tap Learn more to see details about the update
Tap Download and install now to start the update
During the update, the DA2's LED will flash yellow
When the update is complete, tap Done
The DA2 will automatically restart
This is a scan with annotations for GCPs.
Import the measurement coordinates relative to the Point Cloud.
Click on the measurements layer to activate properties.
Choose the 1st 2 points that are common and click next.
Choose the next set of common points.
Be sure your Horizontal and Elevation errors are valid and finish the Wizard
.
Enter the latitude and longitude for the scene, date and time.
1: Subtract NOAA Azimuth from 360.
2: Add 90 to the result.
IE; 360-165.95=194.05
194.95+90=203.05
Don't adjust the angle value
Click on the Scene tab
Enter your values in Light Settings
Click on the 3D view and the glare result
